INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES ACCREDTITATED AT THE EJCH 2003 IN TAMPERE 24 - 27 JULY

1. Accreditation cards

Media representatives can pick their accreditation cards at the acredtiation point, Tampere Stadium, opened as followed:

Monday 21 July 12 - 21
Tuesday 22 - Saturday 26 July 9 - 21
Sunday 27.7. 10 - 14

Please, show your passport or other official personal document when picking your card. At the accreditation point media will get a welcome bag including some statistics and media guide.

2. Accommodation

Hotel Ramada Tampere, situated only 800 m from the Tampere Stadium, 1st floor. If you have something to ask about yout accommodation, call media chief Antti-Pekka Sonninen +358 40 - 841183.

3. Pre-competition press conference

Pre-competition press conference will be held at the press centre, Tampere Stadium 1st floor. No other official press conferences will be organised. All the media representatives can interview the athletes at the mixed zone, where the athletes will be brought after each event. Flash quotes of all the winners will be done in English and be available at the press centre.

4. Briefing for the photographers:

Accreditated photographers will get some instructions and infield-access bibs at a briefing on Thursday 24 July 09.30 at the press centre.

5. Working room

At the press centre there will me working room for 50 writing journalists and in the photographers´ room for 15 photographers.

There will be working tables for 20 journalists at the media tribune, but there is only 30 metres from the mixed zone from the media tribune/mixed zone to the press centre working room.

At the press centre there will be access to the Internet and telephones.

6. Parking

Media representatives can park their cars a right after the main entrance, some 150 m from the press centre.
